Inside Burro Schmidt's Cabin 2004

These images are of the "insulation" used by Burro Schmidt, consisting of newspapers and magazine articles of the day. Note the picture with Shirley Temple and an overlaid cigarette! Some items were placed in the cabin by Toni Seger for "museum" effect, and not everything dates from the era of Schmidt. Most items are now destroyed or looted, thanks to not having a caretaker onsite. All pictures are copyrighted by Charles Hattendorf
